The main function of low-E glass is to hold the radiant energy from indoor to go out and to absorb more solar energy, which can maintain the temperature indoor and save the expenses of central heating. The glass possesses very high transmittance of visible light but the color of reflected light is so weak that it can hardly be seen. So the glass is used in the zone with middle and high latitude.

Controlling properly the transmittance of low-E glass makes it reflect part of transmittance of solar energy and can prevent the energy indoor from going out, and then that forms a window insulating transmittance energy. The glass possesses the function of good decoration since its transmittance is moderate and the color of reflected light is weak. So the products possess better and wider applicability and can be used in the zone with high and middle and low latitude.
